Wyanoke High Point

At about 900 feet above sea level, High Point is not even the highest point in its immediate vicinity. However it is a very nice perch. Located on the eastern edge of the Wyanoke Plateau, it steeply overlooks the Wanaque Reservoir hundreds of feet below. High Point is also one of the most intensely glacially scoured spots an intensely glaciated region. Its summit is a cone of bare bedrock, which offers 360 degree views. It's a short but steep hike up from the Weiss Ecology Center.
